Michael Moore vs. The Wolfman 07/09/07 |

Michael Moore was invited to be interviewed on CNN supposedly to 'discuss' his latest hit documentary, "Sicko." In their inimitable style, CNN had their corporate "medical mouthpiece" *Dr. Sanjay Gupta do a hit piece in which he and various other stooges took potshots using fake data to pretty much savage the film, and Moore in the process. Same thing they did three years ago with "Farenheit 911." Then Blitzer thought he was going to give Moore a minute or two to respond, force him into a defensive posture, make the viewers think that good old CNN had done "real" investigative reporting, and "gee, look at the big guy squirm - you go, Wolf!" Well, Wolf should have known better. Michael Moore just flattened him, CNN, the tables, the chairs... I expect windows were blown out. And our good MM actually smiled, laughed, chided Wolf "come on Wolf, you know..." while eviscerating him! We could go on, but you need to watch the clips. Congratulations, big guy! *Actually, we like Gupta - he is personable, by all accounts a good doctor, and many of his pieces are informative. He's probably pretty good on the medical facts, but on the business aspects - ehhhh, not so much! |
